Mix/Editing

A mix can make or break a song. The balance between instruments, vocals, effects, and overtones produces a sonic perfection that emulates how the song is meant to be heard. We also offer professional-grade vocal tunning and alignment services. LP Media Productions holds 20 years of experience in the matter. Your sound is safe with us.

(ADR)

Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) is a way to improve audio quality or reflect changes in dialogue and performance. We provide a more controlled and quieter setting where clients can re-record audio or film dialogue. If the noise has interrupted or drowned out your film dialogue, we can recapture it in the ADR process.

Studio/Equipment/Software:

Our facility houses two acoustically treated rooms.

• Studio (A) Spacious Vocal booth, Control 24, Avid HD Native Interface, Crane Song Avoset IIA Monitoring Controller, Adams Audio A7X, A77H, Genelec 8320 2way Studio Monitors with aSub-woofer.

• macOS Big Sur (Version 11,) Avid Pro Tools Ultimate 2024, Logic Pro, Universal Audio, Reason Studio, Native Instrument, and Ableton Live.

• Studio (B) Avid Icon D-Control ES 32 HYDX2 8x8x8 System with fader pack, JBL 5.1 surround sound monitors.

• macOS Monterey (Version 12,) Avid Pro Tools Ultimate 2024, esay DCP.

Microphones - (1)Neumann U-87, (1) Chandler Limited TG, (1) AKG C414, Sure SM7B, (1)Sennheiser ew 100 LAV, (1)Sennheiser MKH 416 P48 Boom.

RATE INFO:

⁃Studio Hourly - $85/hr to $120/hr (Engineer not included)

⁃VO Session - $150/hr

⁃ADR Session - $350/hr

ADDITIONAL SERVICES: - TRACKING/SOUND MIXING/EDITING Download or upload session elements, session setup & test, communications, post-session prepping, etc. - $85/hr

TRACKING TO IMAGE - loading image/video into any session (see ADR rates)

PICTURE FORMAT: - QuickTime H264 Timecode embedded. Send specs, scripts, cues, or images as soon as possible, to build and test the session.

RENTALS - microphone/gear  - you will be billed for rental/shipping fees and staff time to administer rental

WEEKEND/LATE EVENING OPEN FEE - Studio is open for booking Monday - Friday 8 am to 8 pm PST - $120

Bookings are for a one-hour minimum, and all scheduled & confirmed session time will be invoiced.​

Billing Info: NOTE - Sessions will not be confirmed without the following:

Name ​and ​physical address ​of parent company,​​ ​name ​and ​physical address​​ of project company, name of job, contact person, position, physical address, P.O. number, etc. + name and email of invoice recipient if different from contact person. Also, let us know of any additional information you may need from us to ensure prompt payment. CALENDAR HOLDs will automatically expire 3 days from being granted. 

LP Media Production Studio provides a unique service to Los Angeles and adjacent areas. We receive many requests for services, and we cannot navigate through countless HOLDs and attend scheduling and booking effectively.

BUMPS, PADS & SAFETIES:

When booking sessions you will be billed for extended time requests (i.e. 1 hour + .5 hr Bump). We cannot market the additional time that you request; this time will be billed at the Studio Hourly Rate of $85/hr when not used by your session. If the time is used to satisfy your session requirements, the time will be billed at the full session rate. 

PRE & POST SESSION PREP

We strive to fulfill your session needs within the confirmed session time quoted and booked. All additional Pre and post-session work is billed at a Studio Hourly Rate of $85/hr (i.e. downloading session elements, session setup & test, obtaining document signatures, printing & scanning documents, post-session prepping and uploading of session Deliverables, etc.)

CANCELLATIONS:

48 hour cancellation: 0%

24-hour cancellation: 50%

Same-day cancellation: 100%

​25% OF CANCELLATION FEES APPLY WHEN RESCHEDULING. When you cancel a session, we cannot market that time.

Overseas Clients: If we have not worked with you before, a Credit Card payment is required for service.
